The timeless truths that guide Spirit Filled Nation Ministries
We stand on biblical foundations rooted in Scripture and shaped by the power of the Holy Spirit. Here are the core convictions that drive our faith and action-the principles that unite us in worship, service, community and beyond.
Who God is
Everything we believe flows from understanding God's character. This is our foundation, and where we continually return.
We believe in one God, eternal and good, who created the world and all that exists. He is not distant or detached. He is a Father who knows us intimately, and who made us with purpose.
We believe this one God eternally exists as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Not three gods, but one God whose very essence is relationship, whose nature overflows with love, and whose design from the beginning has been to invite us into that love.
If God is who Scripture reveals him to be, everything in our lives is transformed. Every conviction we hold is an outworking of this fundamental truth.
What We Stand For
Scripture teaches that every person bears God's image and carries the weight of brokenness. Here are the truths that shape how Spirit Filled Nation Ministries sees ourselves and serves our community.
The Cross at the Heart of Faith
Every person wrestles with pain, purpose, and what comes next. Spirit Filled Nation Ministries is built on four foundational truths about the cross of Christ-the pivot point of history and the anchor of our hope.
- 01
Jesus Christ was fully human and fully God
We affirm that Jesus of Nazareth lived as a real person in history, embodying perfect love and demonstrating God's character through his words and deeds. His teachings remain the foundation of our faith today.
- 02
His sacrifice was redemptive and intentional
Christ's death on the cross was not accidental-it was God's eternal plan to reconcile humanity to himself. Through his sacrifice, the weight of our sin and brokenness is lifted from our shoulders.
- 03
Resurrection is the victory we celebrate
Three days after the crucifixion, Christ rose from the dead. This resurrection is why we gather in worship, why we have genuine hope, and why death has no final say over those who believe.
- 04
Salvation is God's free gift to us all
Grace cannot be purchased or earned through personal effort. God freely offers salvation to those who believe and receive it. Living in the reality of that gift transforms everything about how we walk with him. We must followe His ways and endure to the end.
Our foundation
We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit working through faith and truth. Spirit Filled Nation Ministries is built on biblical principles lived out in daily action, transforming lives and communities through God's Word.
"Love God with all your heart, and love your neighbor as yourself. In these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."Matthew 22:37-40
